Trace fragments to their origin

Compare incoming fruit, preparation, pitting and pulper/refiner feed. A stone broken before separation poses a different problem from an intact stone that escapes the stone-rich reject path.

Specify a sample and fragment method

Agree sample location and amount, inspection method, hard-fragment criteria and response to a failed result. Pair product and stone-rich reject samples from the same lot and machine conditions.

Inspect wear before changing the screen

Tool wear, alignment, feed overload, fruit variation and blocked reject discharge can change the result. Inspect these before reducing pulper screen size, which can change texture and throughput without removing the cause of breakage.
