Identify the fruit
Chinese jujube is Ziziphus jujuba. Record the received lot and whether it is fresh or dried; a trade name or photograph alone cannot establish its botanical identity.
Match preparation to the received lot
Fresh-fruit size, firmness and damage affect the bath washer, inspection conveyor and the selected stone-control operation. Dried-fruit moisture and previous treatment affect handling and any measured conditioning step.
Keep measurement points distinct
Weigh fruit before added process water. Record conditioned material, removed liquid and other removals at the same batch boundary when comparing trial results. Product flow after pulping or extraction is a separate quantity. Label supplier-stated facts, measured sample observations and unknown requirements separately so a quotation does not turn an assumption into a measured input.
