Name one batch through conditioned material

Start with incoming fruit before deliberate water addition and end at the conditioned-material weighing point. Record removed liquid and other removals inside that same batch boundary; downstream stone reject and final product belong outside it unless actually included.

Calculate the signed difference

Unallocated difference equals incoming fruit plus added process water minus measured conditioned material, removed liquid and other removals, all in kg per batch. The later measured product is excluded from this balance.

Investigate a difference, including zero closure

A signed nonzero difference can reflect retained material, sampling, unrecorded flows or weighing error. Even zero closure does not prove fruit-solids recovery, product quality or instrument calibration.

Keep the downstream product separate

A later product mass is an independent observation, not a recovery or machine-capacity calculation. Save the worksheet in this browser tab and explicitly review it before attaching it to an enquiry.
